The Ruins of Castle Moorfathom
The path ends in a grand archway that leads to a giant-sized stonework balcony, cut right into the side of the cavern and dizzyingly overlooking the city some two hundred feet or so above. The city itself is far grander than anyone would reasonably expect a subterranean burg to be. The light of hundreds of pale green lanterns reveal one crenellated wall after another, each set forming a rectangle within another, and every one with a tough looking granite gatehouse, so that altogether the cities defenses seem without equal. Here and there are sketchily outlined forms of long halls and pointy towers, standing safe behind the tiered walls. Glints of armor and axes hint at the cities sentries.
